All you do is fill your container with warm water, drop in a tablet (or two, if you're cleaning something bigger than a water bottle), wait half an hour, and rinse. Also, based on the reviews it seems to work best on metal or ceramic, and not so well on plastic.

Promising review: "Be sure to use hot water; it seems to do a lot better job. The first time I used these on a Contigo travel mug I used room-temp water, and it just came out okay. For the next travel mug I used boiling water and the results were terrific. It looks new again. Then I used two cubes (and boiling water) in a large old pressure cooker that had become brown inside from years of making vegetable soups, and I'm amazed how clean it came out.
